We had planned a night at the coast in Depoe Bay. After the memorial service and busy start to summer, we were really looking forward to the trip to the beach. It was definitely time for some family time just the 3 of us. We started by having lunch at Chan's in McMinnville (our favorite Chinese anywhere). Depoe Bay weather wasn't too great, but the pools were indoor so we still could swim. We went to the beach and Riley had her first fist full of dirt. It was fun to see her old enough to play in the sand.
