Pebbles and BamBam

So, I had this idea that we should use Riley's red hair for a costume before she really has an opinion in what she wants to be for Halloween. I thought Pebbles Flintstone would be cute. Our nephew, Grant (4.5 months younger), would be the perfect BamBam. I found super cute costumes on Etsy. My mom wanted to buy them...so here you have it. We went to my brother's farm on the last sunny weekend we had (beginning of Oct.) and Tim took these pictures. These might have to be mailed for a Christmas card or something....good presents for my parents. :)

So I have a Wilma costume, we took a family picture....those are not going on here...Grant stole my necklace.

After the photoshoot we went to the pumpkin. Riley of course messed up her hair the second she got in the car seat.

Some more from Summer Fun

I stopped updating about the beginning of August. We squeezed in more summer fun but I am too lazy to update them here...just put them in the scrapbook. :) Uploaded most for Karrie to see Abby at the farm...from a while ago...sorry for the delay.

Grant and Riley playdate

On August 1 and 2 we hung out with Grant while Troy and Kathy were busy with farming. We went down and stayed in our tent and then watched him the next day. They are so funny together. Tim had time to go hunt coyotes and shoot his guns, etc.

Grant hams it up for the camera.

Pack n Play with a bag of balls = so much fun for these two

We were going to go see the cows. Riley climbed in and said, "Grant sit here" and tapped her hands on her legs. It worked great.

Aunt Becky surprised the both with a water slide. They loved it. Riley went first and got soaked and giggled. Grant used his shoes to slow him down so he didn't get wet. Smart cookie.

Bath Time after playing on the farm.

Next morning playing with Grant. She was excited to still get to see him.

We went to my parents. We ended up helping move the truck to the field. This is us in the field waiting for Troy. This is how she rode with me. She thought it was great fun to stand while I drove.

Grant played with the radio. They both got to talk to Grandpa on the combine. He loved that.

More July Adventures

This summer we tried to do a lot of little trips, since we didn't spend money on a big trip or plane tickets or anything. We had a lot of fun. Here are some more adventures.

Silly faces around the house. Loves that hat.

Sad faces at Red Robin cause our food wasn't here yet.

Hair is long enough to all go in pony or pigtails.
Trip to visit Baker City.

Historic Horse Drawn Carriage Ride around town.

Oregon Trail Museum in Baker (not the one in Oregon City)
Trip home from Baker through John Day to see Grammy, Papa, and Sassy the kitty. Riley caught a tiny frog too.
